Heracles Traditional Cretan Houses are located in Spili, literally in the heart of Crete. Due to its location you have the opportunity to enjoy the Cretan country side and experience the traditional way of the Cretan life.

The building of Heracles Traditional Cretan Houses was constructed about 250 years ago. Originally the two houses used to be a big family house with a barn and a stable for the family’s animals. The property was renovated with great care just a few years ago with preserving its traditional touches.

Heracles Traditional Cretan House 1 is located on the ground floor and can accommodate up to 5 people. The house features a cozy living room with a flat screen TV and a sofa that can easily be transformed into a double bed. In the bedroom you can find a unique stone build double bed which used to be the wine production space.

The kitchen of the property is fully equipped with all the modern appliances and cutlery the guests may need during their stay. There is also a dining table in the kitchen and a traditional bread oven with a decorative fireplace. In the same room there is also one more single bed.

The bathroom of the house comes with shower. A washing machine and a hairdryer are also available for our guests.

There is complimentary Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property. The house has no air-conditioning but its thick stone walls make it cool during the summer time. The house has heating so it can also be used as a winter destination.

On the outdoors there is a beautifully furnished veranda with nice views of the village and the surrounding area.
