- Water Parks
There are three big water parks in Crete, 2 of them are located in Hersonissos and the other one is in Chania. All of them offer amusement for all ages as they have water slides and swimming pools suitable for children and adults. In the parks you will also find restaurants and bars, changing rooms and lockers.

- CRETaquarium
The aquarium is located at Gournes, 14 km away from the city of Heraklion. It hosts some of the most interesting species of the Mediterranean Sea and the world in its tanks. Visitors have the chance to meet these species either by attending one of the guided tours offered or by walking around the aquarium on their own. Touch screens and labels are available by the tanks in 9 languages and give the visitors all the information needed.
- Planet Crete
The planetarium of Crete is also located at Gournes, 14 km away from the city of Heraklion. During your visit you can attend some of the everyday shows about the Solar System and Planet Earth. The younger visitors have the chance to become scientists for a while and explore the space through the interactive exhibits of the planetarium.

- Natural History Museum of Crete
The museum is located in the center of Heraklion on a 3,500 sq meters area. This is the largest exhibition of its kind in the Mediterranean and it displays the natural environment of eastern Mediterranean area with special emphasis on Greece and Crete. Other interesting sectors of the museum include Enceladus, an earthquake simulator, and Erevnotopos Discovery Center which is an area dedicated to the younger visitors of the museum.
- Kournas Lake
Do not miss the opportunity to visit Kournas Lake which is the only natural, fresh water lake in Crete. It is situated 43km east of Chania and 20km west of Rethymnon and it is lying on a beautiful valley surrounded by hills. You can go there for a walk, a swim or ride a pedalo at the lake.Furthermore you can enjoy a meal in one of the many taverns located by the lake.
- Labyrinth Theme Park
Get ready for an amazing adventure in this unique theme park which is located in Hersonissos. Its main attraction, the Labyrinth, covers approximately an area of 1300sqm and its pathways are over 1 km long. The maze consists of stairways, towers, overhead bridges and rooms. In the park you will find many more fun activities. We suggest to take a walk in the Eco-garden, watch some of the videos for the Minoan Civilization shown in the project room, try horse riding or play mini-golf.
- Dinosauria Park
Visit this interactive park, travel into the past and learn everything about dinosaurs! In the park you can find simulacrums of dinosaurs that lived all around the world in natural size and even watch a dinosaur’s egg hatch! A Dino restaurant and a playground with various educational activities are also available in the park.
