Air conditioning Platanos View Studio is a cozy little house located in the centre of the charming village Spili, overlooking the vibrant main square. The studio has just been renovated and is ideal for couples. The interior is decorated with light colors and offers a double bed and an open closet. The kitchenette is equipped with a two ring electric hob, a fridge with freezer, a toaster, a filter coffee maker, a Nespresso coffee machine and all the necessary cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery. The bathroom of the studio has a shower. In the studio you will also find all the essential amenities such as wireless internet access, iron and ironing board, smart TV, hair dryer, bed linen and towels. The small outdoor space offers beautiful views of the eternal plane trees and the famous lion head fountain.
Spili is a charming village located 28km south-east of Rethymno Town, at an altitude of 430 meters. At the main square of the village, which is located just a few steps away from the studio; you can find a fine stone fountain, called “Kefalovrisi”. The fountain consists of 25 stone carved lion heads, from where crystal clear water flows at the constant temperature of 13°C all year around.
Spili offers all amenities a traveler may need such as shops, a medical center, ATMs post office and a lot of cafes and taverns.
For those who like hiking, there is a part of the E4 trail that connects Spili with Gerakari village.
The magnificent beaches of the southern coast of Crete like Triopetra and Damnoni are reachable within 20 minutes by car.
